LexJet has introduced its first mold-made fine art paper, LexJet Sunset Copperplate Rag 315gsm. The 100% cotton-base paper is manufactured for digital printing “but simulates a specialty handmade paper” said the company. Fine art printers and photographers choose mould-made papers to produce a high-quality look for their sophisticated artwork. Mold-made papers have interlocking fibres that add to the richness of the texture and increase strength and durability. “This is a high-end addition to the Sunset line that’s ideal for limited-edition print makers, as well as production printers, thanks to both the quality and the competitive price point,” said LexJet Product Specialist Jaimie Mask. The natural white base and matte finish of LexJet Sunset Copperplate Rag 315gsm produces an excellent colour gamut and unsurpassed Dmax. “It’s a great option for anyone wanting that ‘print-making’ feel with an artistic surface and texture,” Mask added. Unlike competing products on the market, Sunset Copperplate Rag is free of optical brighteners, acid and lignin.
