My Press Needs (MPN) and Manroland Sheetfed North America have announced a new sales and marketing partnership. Effective immediately, Manroland Sheetfed North America will represent MPN’s Crest Clamshell product line throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, with exclusivity in the packaging, corrugated, publishing, commercial printing, point-of-purchase display and retail graphics markets.
Sean Springett, Manroland Sheetfed North America CEO and Managing Director, said the addition of the Crest Platen Die-Cutter to Manroland’s product portfolio is “a partnership rooted in a mantra, ‘know your value.’ Over the years, MPN has leveraged knowledge of its customers’ businesses to design an industry-leading, feature-rich machine with technological breakthroughs in platen design. Simply put, the most well-engineered platen die-cutter in existence. We’re proud to represent the Crest product line and look forward to developing synergies between Manroland and Crest clients alike.”
“Since we expanded into the large-format market with our Crest 2.5M Platen Die-Cutting Press, we’ve been seeking a like-minded partner to help us penetrate the packaging sector,” said MPN President Rob Weidhaas. “Like us, Manroland is a respected niche company. And its business philosophy matches ours – exceptional customer service, integrity and high-quality products. This partnership is a great fit that will benefit both companies’ customers by offering a complete system solution.” My Press Needs (MPN) was founded by Weidhaas in 2000 as a complete die-cutting resource for the print finishing, packaging and general converting industries. Today, the full-service company specializes in the development, engineering and sales of clamshell presses worldwide, along with consulting and training on die-cutting processes. Its service division, MPN Services, provides Crest Clamshell services and maintenance.
