Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, has added the UJF-3042 Mark II (MkII) EX model, once again expanding its award-winning series of UV-LED tabletop printers. This new model supports additional ink configurations to, and increases capacity on, an already popular platform, said the OEM. The UJF-3042 MkII EX includes eight ink channels enabling users to take advantage of all available ink colours. This model can accommodate light cyan and light magenta, or be configured with clear, primer and white inks at the same time. Available colours include cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, white, clear and jettable primer. Inks are available in one-litre or 250-ml bottles.
The new model joins the popular UJF Series of UV-LED tabletop and benchtop printers that enable users – including commercial print service providers, promotional and personalization item printers, makers, technologists, educators and manufacturers – to realize the benefits of digital printing with higher margins and lower production costs, without compromising quality, Mimaki added. It can print onto media up to 11.8” wide x 16.5” deep x 6” thick. The Kebab MkII option is available for printing on cylindrical objects such as stainless steel tumblers, bottles, cans, vases, packaging and shipping tubes. Ink sets include LH-100 ink for high scratch and chemical resistance, LUS-120 ink for flexibility and scratch resistance, and LUS-150 ink for balanced adhesion and flexibility.
