Ricoh USA’s latest black-and-white MFP series is geared to helping enterprise employees do more in much less time. At speeds of 65, 75 and 90 pages per minute, the new EPEAT Gold-rated and Energy Star certified Ricoh MP 6503, MP 7503 and MP 9003 series adapts to user needs, helping move information more quickly throughout high-volume environments, enhancing collaboration and streamlining employee work – especially for remote and mobile workers. This is the latest Ricoh product series to utilize Ricoh’s Workstyle Innovation Technology (WIT). The series’ intuitive 10.1” Super VGA Smart Operation Panel simplifies tasks, creates customized automated workflows and enables seamless access to information in the cloud. Users can get work done more quickly and easily by taking advantage of the devices’ abilities to recognize common smartphone and tablet techniques – such as pinch-and-flick and drag-and-drop – to move swiftly from one job to the next. The newly enhanced Ricoh Smart Device Connector app provides seamless integration between mobile devices and Ricoh devices, such as interactive whiteboards and projectors.
ricohbwmfps1-inThe series features a combination of workflow-streamlining capabilities and a single-pass document feeder (SPDF) that quickly scans up to 120 single-sided and 220 double-sided images per minute. Output is 1,200 x 1,200-dpi and a standard 4,300-sheet paper capacity is expandable to up to 8,300 sheets. The Eco-Friendly widget allows users to check usage statistics. Plus, an integrated motion sensor detects an approaching user by sensing differences in temperature in the surrounding environment, enabling the device to recover from sleep mode in seconds, providing fast access to Smart Operation Panel functions.
The series also enables users to save up to 3,000 frequently used documents – such as forms that are historically pre-printed and stored at cost. The series also comes equipped with advanced administrative controls to limit outputs for specific users or workgroups, along with user authentication controls to prevent unauthorized access and help ensure that only intended recipients receive documents. Powerful encryption protects data on the 320GB hard disk drive and the Data Overwrite Security System (DOSS) destroys latent document images.
